anyone seen a good price on ST next generation season sets? I see an auction seller on Ebay that sells the asian imports for $50 or so but they seem dubious. Anyone got advice?

Wanna know who'd make a GREAT goddamned female ST captain/line officer?

Diane Lane. At least it'd be a better contribution to the Sci Fi world than her Judge Hershey role in Judge Dredd.

I just don't see how they can get away with selling those sets for so much... the maximum I would ever pay for an entire series (7 seasons) would be ~$250.

The first 3 or so seasons of both DS9 and Voyager sucked, but DS9 got a lot better whereas Voyager just got pretty good.

Nice deals. There is no way I would ever pay that much for them though.

I liked voyager. My local station stopped broadcasting it in the 2nd or 3rd season I don't remember which. It was when voyager helped the borg in the battle with species 483 (something like that) for safe passage. I wouldn't mind catching up but too rich for my blood.

TNG and DS9 were definately better but 7 of 9 ooolala! ;)

You guys should check out eBay. You can get the entire run of DS9 or TNG for about $150 after shipping and all. These are usually from China, but all these that I see have good feedback ratings. The only difference is that there are some Chinese letters on the front covers of the DVD. Beyond that they are the same DVD in English language.

Why do people hate Voyager so much? I really enjoy it. Yeah, some of the episodes make little to no sense but I think that most of the cast was excellent.

I admit that TNG was the best but I totally despise DS9. Of course this is coming from a SW fan so what the h*ll do I know? :eek:

If anyone finds a good price on just season 7, hit me up. It's the only one I need.

You sure they aren't in Mandorin?

Mandarin=Chinese

All these "Chinese" discs are so-so quality. They're probably ripped and recoded with Chinese subs, and sometimes they have video glitches. I don't think they're compressed any more beyond the originals. But then, you get what you pay for.
