Voyager 7th season, the queen had thousands of drones executed just because 1 or two drones lost contact with the collective.

It happened in a book. The Borg won.

I called it.

I think I read that book years ago. The Borg were able to damage the hull of the Doomsday Machine. I don't remember much more of it though. They always find a way of adapting to various armor technologies.

One weakness of the Doomsday Machine - it only fires from one end. Easy way to defeat - stay behind it, while either hitting it with weapons fire, homing torpedoes fired around into the weapon emitter, or find a way to beam explosives onto the DM.

Vulcans are the logical ones. Borg don't care about detonating an entire cube if it means achieving a goal. Happened in Voyager - Borg Queen detonated multiple cubes just to kill off a few drones. There are always more organic beings to assimilate.

M5 would beat the borg ship

Course, I'd like to see the borg vs
V'ger or the Whale Probe
That whale probe didn't really seem to have any weapons. It just shut down ships and talked to whales. I don't know that the Borg would even want it. "Oh boy, technology that can talk to whales. Yeah, that'd be really useful."
V'ger only had one kind of external weapon. Whether or not it'd be powerful enough to stop a Borg ship, I don't know. They might lose a cube, but I'm sure that they would adapt by the second attack. V'ger didn't seem particularly adaptable either. Borg would win.
