Wrong.

First, I can't even put Star Wars in the same comparison.

But...

DS9 > TNG > Voyager > ST😱S > Enterprise

I would switch TOS and V'ger.
DS9 is by far the best Star Trek Series, making it the best Sci-fi series IMNSHO.
The characters are so much more developed than any in anyhting else I've seen. It has some incredible episodes that delv into things other sci-fi dare not touch.

Besides, Star Trek has shaped the world. Star Wars just made geeks hit eachother with plastic swords.

I'd rather watch 2 hours of TNG than any of the Star Wars movies.

This, except not from the first two seasons. They were terrible. In fact I'm surprised the series survived to its third season. Once there, it got good and stayed good.

Come on, it was the late 80s, early 90s, look at what else was on TV at the time.

On the other hand, most of the Star Wars movies were bad too. I only liked A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back. The other four were bad IMO.

I enjoyed the first 2 seasons. I'm sure some of that is hindsight after seeing what the series turned into. It's cool seeing how the characters grew into their parts, and the improvement in the writing.

I still rather watch 2 episodes from season 1 or 2 than any of the Star Wars films :^D

Star Wars was very impressive for it's time, and it was a pretty good movie series. I've only seen the original trilogy, so that's what I'm basing my opinion on. It just doesn't captivate me like TNG does.

Star Wars sucks but I can understand some people liking it better than TNG

What always continues to baffle me is people not liking TNG while like VOY or to a lesser extent DS9.

DS9 at least had its own storyline but wasn't really my style. Half of Voyagers episodes however were just poor rehashes of TNG episodes. The rest just involved Janeway saving the day. I guess the people who like VOY better than TNG are women or ones just watching the show for 7 of 9. Its just painfully obvious to me how lame Voyager is compared to TNG in every possible way.

no one did character development better than TNG.

and what the hell is with all the people who like voyager better than tng?!?!?!

Yeah, that's odd, I like Voyager, but certainly not more than TNG.

I've given up that argument.

DS9 had way better character development than TNG.
Dr. Crusher had the least, then Geordi. They spent very little time with these characters and thus when they were on screen I just didn't care about them.
DS9 managed to get a ton of character development in for more main characters. I think it helped DS9 that it had an ongoing story, where as TNG was a alien/anomoly of the week.
Let's not forget they had a great 1st season episode with the aliens that took over Admiral Quinn and Commander Remmick. At the end of the episode a signal is broadcast and we never hear something about this again. Total let down.

Oh, and Sisko didn't take Q's shit, Sisko decked Q. Picard was a pussy.

So now for the million dollar question: Which would win? Enterprise E or Imperial Star Destroyer? 😀

A million space bucks, that's unfair!

You mean Star Bucks?
