I've played, it's looks BETTER then that for me, my guess is you didn't install the trinity graphics package, it's another few gigbaytes but thats what'll get you to that point.'

If there was a ST MMORPG, I hope there would be holodecks in there. Then I would have my character use the Holodeck to have virtual sex with 7 of 9, T'Pol and Wesley Crusher's girlfriend (played by Ashley Judd). My character would practically live in the holodeck and not go out into the real Star Trek world.

I didn't understand how the game was supposed to work. It would be like making a military MMO. In an MMO you serve yourself, not Starfleet or whatever. Yet in this game you buy your own ship etc.

eve's graphics look good, but are hardly advanced or spectacular
more like really creative use of shaders and mapping to make something very simple look awesome.
STO does look interesting though, you can tell its early development based on the land shot, but even then, it doesn't really look that bad.

I think trek fans must have beaten up the OP at some point It dosent look all that bad, looks like starfleet command III but a tad better.

eve recently got a game engine update, so it looks a lot better then it did before. as for it being fun.... Ive played it for 4 years now. it has its ups and downs, if you can even get passed the learning curve in the beginning.
