Star Trek: Enterprise tops "Save our show survey"

Star Trek: Enterprise won enormous support in USA TODAY's seventh annual Save Our Shows survey, as a record 70% of respondents (in part reflecting a coordinated effort) urged UPN to keep the latest edition of the long-running franchise, which next month completes its third season.

Ill find some addresses and post them later to help.... Personally at first I didn't like ST: Enterprise but it has gotten much better since the last part of the second season and this 3rd season has been awesome with its continuing story arc. If a 4th season is a go, they plan on having multiple continuing story arcs. Kinda like a mini series within the season.

None of my trekkie friends watch Enterprise, kinda weird don't know why. I don't watch it, because its on same time as Smallville.

Maybe if we let it die, they'll think up a better series to do? Maybe further into the future?

Agreed. That and Enterprise seems to be getting better and better, kinda like TNG did as it got older.

It's not trek because Brannon Braga and Rich Bermen have stated that they don't give a sh!t if what they do in this series contradicts the other shows.

Enterprise blows, plain and simple.

I feel most people that like enterprise are people that are new to Star Trek. I noticed that with Voyager, the people that seemed to really like it where people that hadn't seen much of the previous shows.

not true. ive seen most of TNG and voyager and i still like enterprise

I've seen every TNG, DS9, and voyager episode, as well as most of the original series, and most of enterprise, save for a few in the first and second seasons. I really really like enterprise a lot. Voyager was meh, the first half of DS9 was ass, the second half was pretty good, TNG started off kind of weak, but ended up being really cool, TOS has the neat and odd storyline effect.

if you want story arc, babylon5 all 4 seasons are 1 big story arc

even though i enjoyed DS9, and voyager, B5 is just a better show

Actually, ENT is somewhat tolerable. I mean, I don't mind seeing spaceships and explosions every week. But the only true redeeming factor of ENT for me is that at some point in the future they'll have the Romulan-Earth war, which should be fun.

If Paramount cuts that out, then this series will have gone to the dogs. (in fact I think they concocted up this whole Xindi crap to allow them to accelerate the timeline a bit; it takes 6 months for the NX-01 to travel from the Expanse to Earth space, meaning a 12 month round trip, so they can advance through the star trek timeline a bit faster)

Then again, its possible that the old star trek timelines don't amount for anything now...

it's not as good as stargate sg-1, but I do like how it fits with the star trek line, the 3rd season is seeing good charactor development. it took andromeda what, 4 seasons before they got the character development moving along?

heh catching up on the eps i've missed of enterprise. its amazing how they have grenade technology...which somehow gets lost in the future shows
