Today's Fringe has Clint Howard in it, and refers to the evil soldiers of Khan Noonien Singh.

Do you think someone who's never seen Star Trek would be able to enjoy such a movie?
You and I were in synch when we saw that... I was thinking, wait, Clint Howard IS an alien and should know who Khan is. 😀Originally posted by: Eug

My skepticism isn?t a matter of lacking fan devotion but simply of Star Trek breezing along familiarly?even appropriating The Beastie Boys? ?Sabotage??yet not measuring up. Leonard Nimoy?s guest-star voiceover epilogue about man, ?Boldly going where no one has gone before,? feels as false as Fox News? ?Fair and Balanced? slogan. Turning cinema audiences into easy-chair Kirks, Star Trek is literally big-screen TV.
I'm going on May 7. Basically all the theatres in Toronto are showing it on the 7th. Dunno why. And it's not just at 11:55 pm or something. Regular Thursday night showtimes.Originally posted by: shortylickens
I'm not a Trekkie, and I hate theaters, but I might actually go to see this.
Will also have to check the date and times. I originally heard May 8th, but now I'm hearing it will be earlier.

Does it really care?
RT is crap these days and still to far that only 3 critics have seen it and don't count.
Yes, it really cares to put the lotion on its skin!
Seriously though.. these days? RT has always been crap to me. IMDB and Metacritic are much more accurate for my tastes at least, not to mention the hideous web design it has compared to them. But for some reason the majority of ATOT still likes to reference them above all though, just gotta chalk that up to things I'll never understand around here.
But yeah, this movie will be pre-hyped up (what I like to call 'Dark-Knight'd up') until rational, non-fanbois start seeing it for what it really is and bring the score down to something more fitting and less biased.

read up on the comments on the 1 negative, apparently he always gives a negative to a
real popular movie just to be a dick
