Staples store - 50CD spindle 80min $4.99 after MIR

Go to your local Staples store to buy a 50-CD spindly of (something Peripherals brand) for $14.99 and then get a $10 MIR. That's 10cents/CD, darn it 🙂

P.S. I used these before. They work very well, and are rated at 16x

Yeah they look good this time, I got them last Sunday, have not tried them yet.

However, a year ago I bought 20 CDRW's of this same brand from onsale.com and none of them was good (tried on different CDRW drives), and there is no way you can return them...

What many consumers don't understand is that there are only a few CDR
manufacturers and they OEM the discs to other companies for them to
sell under their brand names (Like FujiFilm, Memorex, Kingston etc).

Often, these companies will change who they get the CDR's from and
sometimes they use multiple manufacturers at the same time so you
never know what you're getting. CDR Identifier is your
best bet to finding out who actually MADE the CDR's and what the dye
type used is. (Which may help you identify discs that will work in
your particular application)

yeah i remember reading something about gigastorage being bad..

i almost bought these a few weeks ago but i went for the Nashua instead.. more expensive but i figured either real cheap or semi cheap, and i went with semi🙂 i'm glad i did.. although i've never tried these i'm happy with what i got (and the reviews on gigastorage aren't good)

or you could go to compusa and get yourself a 50 pack of fufifilm 80 min 16x compatible cdrs. They are made in japan by Taiyo Yuden. They are on sale this week for $19.99 with a $10 mir for a total cost of $9.99 plus tax. Can't do much better than 20 cents per top quality disc.
