Might be old info but here goes;I bought a Canon S-100 Digital ELPH from Staples B&M on the 15th and they matched the lowest on-line price I could find. All I had to do was print the page showing the on-line add and they matched it. $394 vs. $499, their in store price. They charge, in addition, whatever the published shipping charges, but if that can't be determined, $5. Pretty hot deal.

What I don't get is if you are at the B&M staples why they have to tag the shipping on the product. Give me a break, u r at the store already and picking the stuff up what shipping are they charging?

what i don't understand i why you would buy at the b&m with all those online coupons floating around plus 4% back from dash...unless you enjoy paying higher prices

Because that is the exact price you would have to pay.

Yep but I guess it helps the newbies. You can also price match online as well.

What the hell does B&M mean?

You're probably kidding but it means brick and mortar, a real actual physical walk in store, not a .com store.

What's dash?

Dash.com gives you back a certain % similar to eBates.com

best way i've found

say you want a hard drive...

1) see if staples carries it...how much is it & can they deliver it in 1 day...

2) find the best price you can at another store (bestbuy, circuit city, etc) or online...but for online orders you have to include their overnight shipping charges if staples offers 1 day delivery...if staples offers 3-4 day delivery just add their regular shipping charges

3) place the order online at staples.com, using the dashbar (dash.com 4% off) and use a coupon from the usual sites (techbargains, fatwallet, etc.)

4) wait a little while after you place your order...then call 800-3STAPLES and tell them you would like to do a price adjustment with _______________ (wherever you found it cheaper)...they will put you on hold, verify the price/shipping/instock & you should get a refund of the difference in price
