Your precious pope isn't a sacred cow and I am free to express my opinion, i.e. I think he was an evil old fvck who turned a blind eye to the victims of his army of pedophile priests. This is my opinion on the pope, and it really has nothing to do with you.

I had 8 staples in my skull before from a trampoline mishap. I couldn't even feel themn go in, but I could feel them pull out of my flesh when they were removed. It didn't hurt, just felt really weird.

Yep, I had 6 staples in my head when a tree fell on me. Didn't hurt going in or coming out, just an odd feeling really. You'll be fine, don't worry about it.

Anyways does it hurt to get these out more than it does when they put them in?

To be honest, I had 4 staples put in my head back in college. I got attacked outside a bar by 4 people when I was escorting a rather intoxicated young lady home. She got away while I got the crap beat out of me. When I was on the ground getting kicked, some undercover police officers apparently came out of the woodwork and nabbed these guys that were punching and kicking me.

They took me to the hospital, got xrays, cleaned up and bandaged. There was a huge gouge in my head that they couldn't sew shut, so they stapled it closed. It didn't hurt when they put the 4 staples in. When I went in to have them removed, it didn't hurt that much to take them out either to be honest. So don't be worried.

Oh, and when the police drove me home to my dorm room that night after everything was said and done, man I was feeling like crap. I was aching and my pride was a little wounded. I didn't even know that girl very well and I questioned why I even agreed to escort her home when I didn't even do a good job at that. When I got back, she was sitting in the lobby with another friend of hers crying. She thought I was in intensive care or something and was worried. She had sobered up for the most part, and thought I was really brave to hold those morons off while she got away. In the end, I got laid that night and went out with the girl for about a year before she left to go overseas. She is still over in Japan right now and we talk every couple weeks via email. :)

i've never had any taken out of my head, but i've had about 80 taken out of my leg. Definately painful but i don't know if the skin on the top of the head is as sensitive as the thigh.

They dont hurt that much. Ive removed a bunch of them and as long as you dont leave them in too long, they come out pretty easily with only a slight pressure sensation. Of course if you take them out too early, the wound opens up again, gets infected, and then your brain needs to be lopped off, but hey, that's the risks.

Hell staples are great, one poke for each staple as opposed to forcing a think needle under your scalp trailing an inch or two of nylon thread. I'd get staples any day of the week before stitches if it were always practical.

And btw, removing them is even less painful. THey bend them in the middle so they just slide out without tugging or tearing anything. Cool stuff.

I know a fair bit about staples in the head, but I've taken an instant dislike to you (based on your rude behavior) so I won't share my info with you :)

PS: hope it really, really hurts :)

I sure can feel the  in here...

I had about 20 in my leg. Didn't hurt taking them out.

They use a tool that looks like a pair of pliers that crimps the middle of the staple and pulls out both sides at the same time.

I admire your libido. Not too many people would have been able to raise it after getting their head split open. ;)

I didn't have to do much. She did all the work. I still remember this night like it was yesterday. :)

Yes there. Not to mention it was around 5pm in the afternoon and visibility couldn't be better. I'm not allowed to release much details but I'll tell you that the friend who was right behind me said that she was going 60mph which is pretty insane. I can also tell you that I had my front wheel in the that lane on the crosswalk while she was well past the speed bump (around the bus stop or so - to people that are not familiar with UF that's about 80ft if not more away from that crosswalk). When I was in the middle with my whole bike I turned around again and see the car jumping over the speed bump and at that point it was either jumping backwards and letting the bike go (didn't know how that would work out especially since I had a friend on a bike right behind me), or trying to speed up and get out of the way. Well I tried the 2nd and it didn't work. Only thing I rememeber after being hit is being in the ambulance and everything from then on. I'll release full details to you guys on here one day just now I can't sorry. Btw thanks Nightfall, hopefully it won't hurt hehe but did you get them put in while you were intoxicated? Is that why they didn't hurt putting in?

PM Electric Amish. I know his wife had had a couple staples in her head at one time. He might be able to offer some insight.

hehe...You mean like this??? ;)
