this is my local stores promo, Howell NJ, but I believe it is nation wide. I also think 2 reams of paper and a desk calendar but I can't find a link for that it came as an email . saying batteries paper and calendar. then linked me to the ad which only mentions batteries . still 2x 16 packs are good deal. you need your stapes reward card takes about 50 days to see the money back.


I just got back from my local staples..

2x batts were 10.99 each

2x reams of printing paper were 6.99 each

2x blotter desktop calendars were 5 each.

so about 46 bucks plus tax.

I will get 46 back this will net around 3 dollars just the tax. you need a rewards card.

Sweet thanks! I freaking love staples. I'm now a platinum or whatever rewards member. you get so many good deals like this. Last time i walked in and got bogo case of paper..basically $50 of office paper for free. Also i've had good success with their staples warranties. Had a garmin die a few months after purchase. Walked in and out with a replacement in 3 minutes. Love the no hassle. worth the price for me!

I'm a Staples Reward member too. Got in on the free rewards 10-ream case deal awhile ago. When it comes to sales on batteries and paper, it's hard to beat Staples.

yeah I do a trick to sweeten this. I buy staples 25$ gift cards with my discover card cash back points.

Lets say I buy a pc from jr.com 800 dollars 5% cashback from the discover card so it pays back 40 bucks..

then I use that to buy staples gift cards on the discover rewards site. staples cards are always $20 for $25. so today I used 2 gift cards that I paid 40 bucks for from discover. the bill with tax was $49.55 or so. my savings is just under 10 bucks due to the gift card deal. Then when I get the staples rebate of 46.

I will be ahead just about 6 bucks.

Do you get the rewards back in cash or credit good only for Staples? I guess either way it works for me, as I stack coupons to buy k-cups from them....

Basically it's like store credit on your rewards card. It's not instant. The girl at staples said it takes about a month.
