It's a link to coupons. $10 off $40 in store and $20 off $100 B&M or .com.

Got same e-mail from Staples last night. $10 off $40 is not bad - need cartridge for inkjet.

Eh, $10 off $40 is child's play. They also have $40 off $150 which are the best. Still, thanks man! :)

The $40 off $150 expires 12/31/00. The only good ones left for now is the $30 off a $100, or $40 off $200.

My staples has a big standup sign when you walk in the door with these deals. All you have to do is mention it.

I don't know how Staples makes money. I have purchased maybe ten times in the past year from Staples and I always use a coupon for minimum of $20. One time I got $40 off and a free ZIP drive.

You really don't get it?

Well, how much do you think it costs to build a new store, maintain it, pay employee's, constantly train new employee's, deal with B&O tax, unemployment tax, Social Security, benefits, etc? Wouldn't it make more sense to sell online with constant promotions to get people away from your competition? It's working, OD just closed a bunch of locations, and others will follow.

It's really obvious here in Seattle where Staples doesn't have even one store, and the closest one is an hour drive each way if there is no traffic or rain.
