Staples coupons -- going never to return?

I just got some more Staples coupons in the mail today.

16 digit codes, not 5.

This almost certainly means that they're individualized for me, which makes COMPLETE sense from Staples' point of view.

But it also presumably means that the days of coupon sharing are coming to an end. (This isn't necessarily so, but from Staples perspective, why wouldn't it??)

Use 'em while you can, I'd say.

(This isn't directly a hot deal, but it affects many of them; I hope the mods will permit this thread.)

Damn, we were warned from someone on this board that this was coming, but wasn't supposed to until May. I guess Staples figured they don't want to lose money anymore

It was really only a matter of time. Staples.com has been losing an ungodly amount of money. They lost like $200 million last quarter.....

Not good. So, how do they decide who to mail coupons to. The only ones I ever get from them are the ones in the emails.
