Staples coupon and pricematch question...

Can anyone answer this question? I was going to buy a 32mb smart media card from Staples for ~$85 and use a $25 off $75 coupon. I can pricematch the same card from Onvia for ~$56 which should then drop my price to $31 (and free shipping). My question is if I can use the $25 off $75 coupon as the pricematch will drop the item from $85 to $56...

(It would have worked with the $20 off $50 coupon but the coupon expired before I did the deal...)

Thanks!

If you price match an item to lower than $75 you can't use a 25 off 75 coupon because your original price is no longer higher than $75. You could only use a coupon for orders that were over $50. By the way, this type of post goes in the ~~~ HOW DO I? ~~~ thread. You should search for it before posting something like this, as it is not allowed.

As soon as you do the pricematch, the CSR will tell you that your coupon is not longer valid because the price has dropped below $75. If you don't mind waiting for rebates, try adding some software that's free after rebate. Can't think of any off the top of my head right now though.

It would be nice for us JR's if the Topic specific threads were always at the top somehow...

I posted the question here for several reasons:
a) It's a hell of a hot deal if it worked;
b) The original "deal" for this card using the $20 off $50 was posted here;
c) a search for "How Do I" thread turned up nada...

I understand why you posted it here but still the post isn't allowed. This thread will probably be locked down soon. I was only trying to help you out.

Buy two of the cards then.. eGay one of them..

2 * 56 = 112
112 - 25 = 87
87 / 2 = 43.50 each

That looks to be about the going price on eGay right now for those cards..
