Also, amazing what winning a few Super Bowls will do for season tickets and creating legacy fans. People who went out and bought season ticketts, their kids who brought into the legacy, fueled by Super Bowl wins.

And can you blame Bills fan? To have gone so far and missed 4 times, each loss is like a small dagger. There's only so much punishment a fan can take. We want it more than beloved patriot fan. At the end of the day, you can still polish your old superbowl trophies. We go back to the glory of Tonawanda. So back away from the bandwagon take. For a city of that size and demographic, our attendance for non-sellouts still beats most teams sold out capacity. the only way you can counteract the fact that your team will probably still suck this year in the wake of Buffalo's ascent is to glam on the bandwagon chant. Classic. I love third grade tactics. Gonna tip my Juicy Juice box next?

And I'll put Upstate NYs fanaticism and loyalty to sports (from major sports team, to farm teams, to college teams...Syracuse broke the NCAA records for a single game attendance record this year, beating its own record) up against the Beltway's any day.

Or is it that we're not putting enough cars in your backyard as you rake us for $25 a vehicle?

Very nicely put!! Our tailgate parties alone would put some of the big city teams fans to shame!!

You cannot compare the Redskins straight up to others, due to the fact that many of their tix are bought by
politicians and the such. Move the Redskins away from DC and it would be a much different story!!
Actually, you'd be wrong. Few politicians have the kind of scratch that would be needed (unless independently wealthy). They're usually guests of the rich corporate fat-cats who buy skyboxes. Besides, the Redskins have a waiting list for season tickets of many thousand.

Great. beloved patriot fan catering tailgates off the back of their Volco Cross Country Wagon? Fois gras, brie, and riesling at the 50 yard line? So 'skins games are sold out because people enjoy slumming? Classic.

Thanks for the clarification! You know what I mean though!!

Look,
beloved patriot tickets are always sold out because of multiple reasons not including anything that has to do with Politians. That is such a ridiculous comment. If you go to a beloved patriot's game, you will see more rednecks there than any other event in the Washington area. beloved patriot tickets are sold out because the games are incredibly fun. Tailgating before the game, getting drunk, eating hot dogs and bake beans, getting indigestion, etc. There is also a great deal of die-hard fans (believe me. you can think differently but you are wrong). Even if the redskins are loosing, they STILL SELL OUT and pack the stadium. These things with the fact that the Skins are usually a pretty good LEGACY team, fans will come.

I don't think it's a ridiculous comment at all!! I'm not knocking the Redskins, their fans or anything about them!!
It's just the fact of the clown posting earlier, basically trying to compare the Redskins vs. Bills attendance, when they are in
two totally different type of economic climates and market sizes. The entire situation is different down there and you
can't possibly tell me there's not a significant number of corporate/political/etc. ticket holders.

"Uncle!"

You win VH2000.

Okay, I'll admit, there are a lot of great Bills fans around here. But I love harassing them from time to time. I never miss a Redskins game when it's played up in Orchard Park. (where it's affordable). I can't afford to go to Redskins home games... (travel plus hotel plus tickets) Heck, you have to pay for a ticket to even see them in training camp. Danny Snyder gets every cent out of the fans that he can manage... I'm surprised he doesn't put some sort of carnival ride into the stands to turn everyone upside down, so he can collect the loose change.

One thing's certain about Buffalo games though.... the fans are a lot nicer than they are elsewhere. I can wear redskins gear from head to toe and not have to fear for my health. The only "major" incident I ever witnessed was some shmuck who was shirtless, drunk, obnoxious, and offensive (and a skins fan).... he was all but buried under a barrage of snowballs. Imagine every bit of snow within throwing distance being thrown by literally 100's of people at one person. It created a big pile of snow in the vicinity of his seat. Hilarious to watch.

BTW, Giants fans,.... Buffalo should have beaten you in the super bowl. (And, Scott Norwood didn't deserve the criticism he received... he BARELY missed a LONG field goal. They should have won the game before that though.)

And, lastly, according to Business First magazine, Cleveland fans were the most supportive of their team, followed by
Kansas City, Washington, Green Bay, Baltimore, the New York Giants, Philadelphia, Denver and Buffalo.
(based on a formula that measured attendance, population, income, and other factors) Since I'm a fan of the 3rd ranked team, I've still got room to talk 🙂 But, you Buffalo fans can put down the other 23 team's fans behind you. And, while Cleveland fans are considered the most "die hard", they're also considered the most obnoxious (bottle throwing incident is just one example). Other team's fans widely criticized for being obnoxious/classless: Philly, Oakland, Pittsburgh.

Remember to enter daily!

DrPizza - I'll meet you on Oct. 19th in the parking lot at Ralph Wilson Stadium for the Redskins vs. the Bills.
The first 3 beers are on me!! 😀

So what are all these other examples of Cleveland fans being obnoxious?
