I went to the store myself this morning at 6:00am. That was a chaos but I managed to get some good stuff (the HDD, DVD-R 40pks, jewel case, surge protector, USB drive, the combo palm and mp3 player). That was a hit for me. Saved more than 100 bucks.

I did exactly the same thing. My staples is in a suburb of Portland, though, and there were MAYBE 30 people there, because everyone else went to the Maine Mall where Best Buy, CC, etc. are! I got the HDD, DVD burner, Netgear wireless kit, Kodak photo paper, 40pks of DVD- and +Rs, Jewel cases, surge protector, both USB flash drives, and the combo mp3/palm. I also go the shredder (FAR) adn Brother labeler. I hope the EasyRebate works like its supposed to on Tuesday...

I had ordered the 160GB hard drive online on BF but was informed the next day that they were out of stock. Since it was an "while supplies last" offer, I was out of luck. Well, Staples.com called me today and told me that they can sell me the hard drive for the advertised post-rebate price. So I am getting a Maxtor 160GB HD for $39.94+tax with no rebate forms to deal with.

Staples rocks!
