Staples.com and Ingram Micro

I read some time ago that shopers are able to order Ingram Micro offerings through Staples.com by using the product code "IM" + the part number from IM. Does this policy still hold? If so, how/can I search Ingram Micro's product lists without being a vendor. It looks like IM's page requires some business relationship. I do realize that IM is the supplier for many wholesale/mail-order resellers.

Thanks in advance. Don'cha thinks questions like this are more appropriate for a Hot Deals Help forum? Just posting something like this in HD means an instant lock, but may be a very valid question. Oh well, there's my philosophical rant.

Old thread, but I stumbled across it.

I did purchase a couple UPS units from Staples, realized I needed pure sine wave and decided to return them. The return UPS label has them going to Ingram Micro. The Staples item number did in fact start with IM as you suggested. I unfortunately don't have more answers for your other questions, but rather just confirmation of what you thought was the case.
