I just got this ad in the mail today along with a $10 off $50 coupon. I have no idea why they sent it to me, but what the heck.

There's a ton of stuff in this ad but nothing particularly eyecatching.
Here's a quick rundown

Hi-Tech 50 Pack CD-R's - $24.99 - $10 IR - $15 MIR = FREE
Pacific Digital 12/10/32 CD-RW - $99.99 - $10 IR - $20 MIR = $69.99
Kodak DX3700 3.1 MP camera - $299.99 with a free 32MB memory card
HP 940 Printer - $149.98 with a free PT65 label maker

Free 64MB memory with the purchase of either
Verto TNT2-M64 PCI video card - $69.99 or
Verto Geforce2 MX200 AGP video card - $79.99

Free memory card reader with purchase of PNY 64MB Smartmedia or Compact Flash, both $49.99

PNY 128MB PC133 RAM $39.99 - $15 IR - $10 MIR = $14.94
PNY 256MB PC133 RAM $79.99 - $35 IR - $15 MIR = $29.94 (oops)

Buy TaxCut Deluxe or Home & Business and get $150 of software Free (w/ a ton of upgrade and MIR's)

There's a lot more (16 pages worth of ads) but nothing particularly interesting.

Feel free to request if certain items are on sale

Nearly forgot something
There's a link to "Get our money saving circular by email days before it appears anywhere else"
www.instorespecials.staples.com

Just checked out the link myself, its actually pretty neat. Type in your zipcode and it brings up the ad for your area. Mind you, it only shows this weeks ad, but its cool nonethless

are staples dumping out the hi-tech cdrs or what. seems like every week they have this FAR, free after rebate. anyone has experience with these?

Thats a great link. too bad the nearest store to me is 93miles. That bites, I gotta realy make some money on a deal to go there. Still can do the online thing. Thanks

Hehehe, got one of those white envelopes of surprise huh? Got one a few months back too a lousy coupon but an ad two weeks in advance. Strange.

on HI-TECH CDR's rebate form, it actually stated the dates ranges (i do not have it on hand, so do not have the exact date) for the rebate (so that means if you jump on a pervious deal, do not think you can get a second because it use the same form, thus do not allow mutli Submission)
The rebate form has no phone#, no website to track, and its a MIR. Not a staples Rebate. Make sure you photo copy everything. Keep the ad too if you can! So you can go back to staples B&M and get your $ if it do not come.

BTW, i tried to buy one pk before the Black Friday and with the thro. that i will get a price adjust at 11/23. The CS actually forget to scan it. I was buying 5 items. I went home and found out. Totally Free. (if i noticed at the counter, i will tell her.) And i will not try the CDR, it go to the Christmas gift exchange "program" for my wife.

Pacific Digital 12/10/32 CD-RW - $99.99 - $10 IR - $20 MIR = $69.99

From my little personally exp. PDC 16/10/40 CDRW is lite-on. But 69.99 - 25 = 44.99 is just a fair price for 12/10/32. As it come with a not-big brand name (nor normal ez cd) CDR software. I like the deal on Hi-VAL last week or so at COMPUSA for 39.99 AR with a nero 5.5 software. I actually feel it is faster to copy CD cp to the PDC one (same 16X, copy a Win98SE OEM CD) Hope the Hi-VAL hold up cause i sold all of them out already. Hope they will not return to me for trouble.

I will think any 12X CDRW drive will sell for about 30 AR after Christmas/new year if they have not clear out the stock at all as new speed drive will come.

the PDC burner comes with NTI 2000 burning software. I like it over sleazy CD creator. The 12x model also has SD2 capability.

PhylloDz: The link is at the bottom of the first message.
CiscoGuy: Sorry, no scanner available

Don't ask me for the coupon, its in a barcode format, and at $10 off $50 i think its pretty worthless anyways.

This ad has a ton of "gift" items, not much tech on sale.

I forgot to post the networking equipment from the back page, so here it is

Linksys Wireless Cable/DSL Router = $229.99 - $30IR - $20MIR = $179.94
Linksys 11MBps Wireless PC Card = $99.99
Linksys Wireless USB Network Adapter = $99.94
Linksys Cable Modem = $129.99 - $30 MIR = $99.99
Linksys 10/100 Cable/DSL Router = $99.99 - $10IR - $10 MIR = $79.94

Philips 17" Color Monitor = $164.98 - $50MIR - $15MIR = $99.98
Envision 19" Color Monitor = $229.98 - $70MIR = $159.98

VTech 900mhz Cordless phone = $29.99 - $20MIR = $9.99 + Free 30 min calling card

<< PNY 128MB PC133 RAM $39.99 - $15 IR - $10 MIR = $14.94
PNY 256MB PC133 RAM $79.99 - $35 IR - $10 MIR = $29.94
>>
