Staples 5-19 "Formulated" Deals! [Most rebates are up on website]

Can somebody help me, please?

I wish to buy a UPS for free after rebate and coupon; however, it doesn't add up...

The UPS are $60 - $10 coupon - $40 rebate = $10.

I haven't found the $10 instant and the store didn't know what I was talking about.

Can somebody provide a link or explanation what I am missing.

Drat. I want the Sandisk smartmedia card (128MB). However, searching my zip code reveals nothing. Any ideas how I can score this item from staples? Searching for the SKU turns up nothing as well

My local Staples didn't have the UPS on sale in their add either. I went to the website prior to going to the store and did a search under there in store specials link for a store that in an area that did offer the deal. I read in one of the posts that the NY area had it So I went to switchboard. cizom and looked for Macy's in NY and got their zip code. Then on the staples site I searched for that Zip and found the store and viewed their specials and printed out the add pages with the price. I took those to the store and just said I printe these off your site. He searched and finally found that add page at some other area store and went ahead and did a price match on it for me. I bought 2 of em along witht he CDRW drive s I paid 200 got 40 of coupon and will get 130 in rebates back. So including tax I'll spend 39 dollars for 2 UPS's and the writer.

Update on my deal for an NEC MS75 17" monitor and the Cendyne CDRW.
Cendyne OOS NEC 119.99 - $40 coupon (guess they felt bad) - $30 rebate + tax =$54.74

Cendyne picked up @ B&M + dozen stick pens -$20 coupon - $50 rebate + tax = $31.68

17" NEC + Cendyne CDRW + dozen pens = $86.42 Whatta country!!!

dang, the modem and speakers are gone from their website. I called and they said that means they're OOS, and they have no idea when they will get more.

and there aren't any staples in my town, so I'm SOL I guess.

I didn't much care about the modem, but I would love to get those speakers for $10

Copy of my post from the rebate tracking thread for the lazy:

Invalid staples rebate on the 5/19/02 Deals: 128 MB Sandisk Compact flash

rebate info: $20 Rebate on a Sandisk 128MB Smart Media (SKU 480124) OR a Sandisk 128MB Compact Flash Memory Card (SKU 463438)

After checking the status online (I started the rebate online and mailed the rest, so they gave me a tracking code), it said INVALID rebate due to invalid UPC. I took a closer look at the copies that I made, and on the "not an invoice sheet" the SKU # of the Sandisk 128MB Compact Flash Memory Card is listed as 380981 (although this was the EXACT mem card for the rebate). Luckily, I saved the packaging slip for the flash card, and it lists the sku# as 348236, but under "cust sku" it says "463438", the valid sku. It also lists the UPC code that I entered online for it, 619659015213, proof that the UPC i submitted was indeed valid

I called the staples rebate center @ 1-888-856-9210, and after waiting a while (since that's the only way to get to a live customer service guy), the guy said my rebate was invalid, but he later validated it after I told him the above story.

PokeSmot I had the same issue with the Sandisk Rebate. One ten minute ph call fixed it though. Thanks for your informaition, it helped me out.
