Is there any way to register to receive Staples e-mails (with the coupons) other than having to give them a credit card number?

If you go to their web site and sign up to receive their emails, then after like a month or so, they'll start sending you coupon codes.

http://staples.com/

On the left side, scroll down to where it says:
Get the latest hot offers, delivered to you!
Enter Email Address:

you only need to provide your email addy (no personal info like name or CC#)

Can we really use this? At the bottom it says "...Staples Store Associates: call 508-253-2646 for verification." I do not see any coupon code for verification.
If they call for verification, and want to know what contract company you work for, the answer is "Bank of America". That's their largest contract customer.

ARRRGGGHHH! Staples wont let me stack a 5 digit coupon code with my own 16 digit coupon for $30 off $150 that I had to buy from some guy on Ebay for $3 bucks! Does anyone have this happen to them?

Circular with 200 GB drive click on "view upconing circular"

Circular with 250 GB drive click on "view upcoming circular"

I think you may be right. Unfortunately my local ad only has the 200GB. Fortunately the 200GB is cheaper per GB than the 250GB. Unfortunately the 250GB drive can't be purchased online at the sale price. Fortunately the 200GB drive can. Staples is less than ½ mile from here, but I hate fighting crowds. Last anniversary sale I showed up for was pretty crazy. May as well purchase online and get free shipping.

yes, there is no problem using it, i went to the store, and the young cashier had to ask how to take off the 12%, but did not question it

I picked up a couple of spindles of the Staples branded DVD-Rs. Although they probably vary from store to store, the ones I received were rated at 8X and made by CMC. Perhaps not top tier media but for $7.94 out the door with no rebate, this is a better than average deal. I just burnt a couple discs on a NEC 3520a without any problems.

Does anybody have thoughts on the 5MP Kodak EasyShare CX7530 digital camera for $179.90.? I just bought it for $170 with coupons (free shipping + tax...hate the tax) for my parents. Seems like a steal to me for a simple Camera with solid features.

Well, the good news is that I was able to use the coupon on sale items (like the HP Laserjet 1012 I wanted) but they gave me a hard time about it. My Staples wanted to see a COMPANY ID from a participating company before they would honor it. I was almost ready to put some stuff back when my girlfriend spoke up, she works for a local university and has a staff ID. They honored that no problem. Still, was a little embarrassing at first.

Thanks to all concerned! 🙂

just wandered into staples today and didn't know about this. I saw the wireless intellimouse for $12 and I was all over that. They had a silver one too but that didn't come up as $12... but $54. Had to get the "crimson red" one. Using it now - can't get much better for $12. Guy behind me on line ran back there for one himself after seeing it ring up so cheap.

Wasn't too busy 45 minutes after open. Picked up the 2 cu. ft. sentry safe, and other than having to ask how to ring it up, had no problems using the 12% off.

Ended up $369.99 - 44.40 (12%) + 21.49 (tax) = $347.08 OTD

$347.08 - $140 (easyrebate) = $207.08

Not bad at all. Best deal on a 2 hour rated Sentry safe I've seen yet.

Me and my friend scored 3 LCD (sharp) for 90.00 each AR and AC

almost picked up a 512mb SD and Free 4x6 photo paper

and a roll of packing tape

How did you manage to get the Sharp LCD for $90. Help me follow the Math...Thx.

12%, 50.00 ER, 100 MIR (from Sharp), and some instant rebate, i forgot the amount

it came out to be 240 after Instant rebate and 12% and 8.75% tax
mail in the 50ER, and 100 MIR

hmm...the 250GB drives come out to about $88 plus tax after the 12% coupon, good deal. Especially good for folks like me who need a bunch of drives since Easy Rebates allow up to 10 submissions per person/address. .35 per GB, not bad. I think I'll pick up 4 or 5 tomorrow.

Something to keep in mind is that the 12% off coupon is applied before the rebate. For example, the Linksys Wireless B router was $42.81 after using the 12% off coupon and the rebate is $40 so the router only costs $2.81.

Also, if you have an American Express Business Card, like I do, check to see if you get 20% off through OPEN this month. So, I actually got paid about $6 to buy the router.

This is not even including another $4.50 in savings if you are in the Staples rewards program. In all, I made about $10.50 and got a free router!
