Ok then my pc goes to stand by mode, my fans still working, is they supose to be off when stand by?How to fix it?

Well, after the machine goes into standby the CPU is still warm, and still needs to be cooled, so I wouldn't automatically assume this is a problem.

hm and what about other 3 case fans they still running?becouse pc still warm and needs to be cooled in stand by?

I just did a check of my machine to see of when it went to standbye the fans would still cool the CPU and tythe others would keep running...

All my fans went off when the machine went to standbye!!

What I would like to know is do you have any fans that are hooked to some sort of Fan speed controller and NOT hooked to the mobo?

I wish you luck in getting to the bottom of this perplexing problem!!

It would help if no one had to guess what mainboard your using.

Go into the BIOS>Power Management>Settings..Select S-3(iirc it's*S*). THe BIOS will tell the PSU to shut down the power to the fans and all drives. Even if the fans are not hooked up to the MoBo, Bro 😉

I just have never seen the benefit of "StandBy" on a desktop in all these years. There are different levels of standby from what I understand (or maybe thats sleep, c3 s1 w/e) Do a lot of people really use this? Am I missing out? 😛

I use it when doing a project away from the comp. Car repair, building this comp i'm on,
anything really. I may come back to referance something in 10 minuets or two hours.

I allways hybernate the monster Mit at night, rarely shut it off. I'll put the comp on standby overnight also. But i have wake on LAN disabled. I disabled the mouse to wake-up the comp,
i gotta hit any key. That way a SoCal tremor won't wake the baby up. The Mit is degaussed
once a month. The Navaset software has a button for that. Just gotta love the BRRROING
sound it makes. It's much more intense with the button than booting the display.

All of my fans stay on during standby.
according to my manual..
S1 standby is power-on standby
S3 is suspend to ram

I almost never put my computer in standby as its always running F@H for our team 😀. I usually just have it turn off my monitor and the hdds.
