Some may remember this movie. It's a true story about a teacher who took a class of high school deadbeats and got them to pass the AP Calculus exam. Starring Edward James Olmos and Lou Diamond Phillips. Very good movie and I was doubtful that I could even find the DVD. For $6.99 + free shipping, this is a steal considering everywhere else it's for almost twice as much!!

BTW, anyone know of a B&M store that PM's online vendors?

Just be aware that its the Pan and Scan version.... Pretty good movie though...

i dont think there's a widescreen version. it's pretty old. this isn't the kind of movie that would really benefit from widescreen anyways

We watched this movie in my HS calculus class for inspiration, not too bad.

This is seriously the only movie that I think is realistic. It's such a good movie - and during the whole movie, I felt like I was watching real people - no hollywood bullsh]t.

Errrr... I saw this in a Meijer B&M yesterday for $5.99
And I've seen it at a Wal-Mart B&M before for $5.88 (while I was working there) but I passed because it's P&S.
Target stores tend to have it for around the $5.88 price when it's there too.

what kinda store is meijer? never heard of it. i checked walmart but they are selling it for around $13 i'd love to pick it up immediately if there is a B&M store that sells it for cheap.
