I found myself in a position where I needed to mail a decent amount of things, including some international stuff. I've heard a lot about stamps.com so I tried that.

Their software is slow and buggy. It won't connect to Paypal like it's suppose to so I'm having to transfer everything back and forth manually. Any functionality that requires making an internet request takes about 30 seconds. They're supposed to send email confirmations to the recipient but nobody is receiving them. Additionally, I had to switch from Linux to Windows just to use their application.

I can deal with switching to Windows for shipping if I have to. I need Paypal integration. I need software that is easy to use. I don't want to spend much money.

I'm not looking for a carrier, I'm looking for software to purchase postage, print labels, and schedule USPS pickups.

Err. Costco for freedom stamps and print labels from word? USPS picks up from your house.

Walk to the post office?

You can try and get labels on USPS.com but it's limited on what you can get. Mostly for flat rate.

Amazon customers recommned something called endicia, which is said to be easier to use then stamps.com.

Walk to the post office?

I'm shipping single items a few times a week. I'd like to be process an order in 5 minutes: get the order, print the label, package it, and schedule a pickup.

If I have to go to the post office, I'd spend 30 minutes and a few bucks on gas for one package.

I'll look into using Paypal or USPS directly. I'm currently content using Paypal for receiving payments and sending invoices, so I'd like to keep using Paypal for tracking the order through the shipment proces as well. Stamps.com promised an integration although it doesn't work.
