Got an ad w/CDROM in the USPS mail, today.
I'm tempted, but just don't use very many stamps, any more.

Went to the site to consider it.
Found same, $80 Offer: Stamps.com

Anyhow, FWIW:
4 Week Trial
$25 Free Postage (for 4 week time period?)
Free Digital Scale (5 lb - "$50 value")
Free Supplies Kit (the last $5?)

How does the No-Risk Trial work?
New customers are eligible for our 4 Week No-Risk Trial. Simply cancel before the trial period ends and you will not be charged. If you like the service, do nothing and your account continues automatically.

What do I get for trying the service?
Your Stamps.com account automatically starts with $5 free postage and a free Stamps.com Supplies Kit ($5 Value). After your trial period, you will receive additional postage coupons ($20 Value), plus a free Stamps.com digital scale ($50 Value) ? a total value worth $80!

How much does it cost?
$15.99/month - no hidden costs, cancel anytime.

What if I decide to cancel?
Unlike other postage meter solutions, you are not tied to any long-term commitment, and there are no cancellation fees.

For some reason I thought these guys went under, I guess not. Interesting promo, altho I don't come close to $16/mth usage.

It's a great way to get a free sheet of stamps 🙂

It only takes up about half of the $25, but they only give you one sheet of the blank stamp stickers. The scale is so so.

yeah...looks good, but I only spend $2-3 a month on postage.

i used to spend $2-3 month of postage on rebates but ever since those keep getting rejected I stopped using stamps. 😀

u dont get the stamps until you're into the 2nd-3rd month so u pay $32 $48 for thos stamps and the first
month is not free.
they dont give u neough supplies to print them all.
and dont make a mistake , your fault or theirs its 2-3 months for refund and no refund if u quit.
the scale isnt really worth $50 u can buy them for 15-20 i think.

ps. i think they're software deliberatly screws your 2nd portion free stamps so to screw people who TRY and QUIT.

I can' t unsderstand how theeir software that proved itself very well first 2 prints and rembered the stamps sheet number and next blank position so well could suddenly "forget" its own alignemet and misprint ALL my stamps. Its precision and forethough that impressed
me as i finished the first $5 just dissappeared as tried to print the $10 at 30days like someone told it to.

just my paranoid psychotic ramblings but seriously it worked IMPRESSIVELY until the $10 free stamps then it just went wacky.

those scales are very handy if you do alot of FS/FT or ebay stuff...do you still get to keep it even if you cancel?
I think we've got 2 of them here, one for shipping and one in the kitchen

They used to let you keep the scale if you cancel 4 years ago. Now, I think you have to returned the scale if you cancel. The scale lasted me about 1 year, then it was dead suddenly.
