Stalker Glitch?

Every time I load Stalker I have to quickly go into my inventory and double click on the suite I'm wearing than put it on again, its so annoying. If you don't It says I have the suit on but when i die I can obviously see that my body doesn't have a suit on. Any idea on how to fix this really annoying glitch. Quick saves and normal saves both turn out with the same results and reinstalling too.
 
Are you sure it isn't just a graphical issue that you are fixing by re-equipping the armor every time? Because I didn't have any issues with armor glitching in my game.
