Stage 2 complete: old motor is out of the car.

Today I started working on the motor swap for my car. We got the old motor out of the car, and stripped it down to the shortblock. We got all the parts we need to reuse (belt driven accessories, heads, oil pan, few others) cleaned, and started assembling the new motor. We got the oil pan on the new motor, dropped the lifters in, and the heads are ready to go on in the morning.

Unfortunately, I forgot my camera, so no pics I will remember the camera tomorrow, though, I promise.

The 393 got finished last thursday. Hope to be all in by august, but there will be fabrication involved due to the move from a D-1 to a D-1SC and some other changes... should easily be seeing low 11's up here now
