...my brother did actually........
he was coming out of a bend and he was doing 55mph in a 40mph road. I can imagine he was doing faster.
It was about 8:30pm at night and the visibility wasn't great. He was speeding over the limit out of a bend and going on to a straight. The road is small with no curb or walk way for people. Bushes and some trees to the right and left. More bushes then trees. The trees are few.
A fox jumps out or goes across the road. My brother swerves out of the way (dam t!t) to miss the fox and hes heading towards a LAMPOST at whatever speed he is from 55mph then he swerves left to miss the lampost just missing it he says then hes heading towards a tree full on at whatever speed.
The tree had a trunk that was about 1.5m in diamter. A bit tree.
2 guys were in the car with him also. All of them were wearing seat belts. One of them doesn't usually wear seat belts but did this time and it saved his life. If you look at the pics and the speed he was going he would be out of the window and in to the tree. He hurt his wrist hitting the dash board. My brother hit his head against the side window and his neck hurts a bit. His other friend in the back hurt his ribs, don't know how serious or minor it is.

The car will be a write off as the car is valued at about £500 ish and the repairs and such will be about £2.5k
It annoys me as now I have no car to drive about which basically kills my indepedence and socialising
and it was his stupid fault for speeding down this road and could have been avoided if he was doing the correct speed and taking it easy.
He passed his driving test 2 weeks ago yesterday which was the day of the crash. He also had another accident about a week ago but that wasn't his fault.
