I got my order today..I thought I ordered a RETAIL celeron 633..but it came in only a small square plastic holder..no fan or heatsink so I guess it is OEM..scared me ...was afraid I'd have a lot of overclocking problems with it....I did'nt look at it's numbers but it did say Malay on it...anyways it overclocked just fine...its now @950mhz 1.85v.....think I can turn down the voltage later since it was pretty stable at 1.80 cept for a lockup after 30 min of TFC...heres to hoping I can go even higher later....anyone else tried the OEM ones..usually not as good I hear but this one is a beauty.
I do have one question.....with 3Dmark2000 my old score was 3506 or so on a cel 300a@450mhz...now on this new cel 633@950mhz it only went up another 1000 points to 4648....does'nt seem that big of a jump...any thoughts on this?
BTW this is a fc-pga chip in a abit slocket 3 with a gorb attached.
