stable cpu/motherboard combination?

So what is seen as a really 'stable' motherboard and cpu out there?

I'd like to go with a DDR mainboard and an Athlon 1.3ghz, but I think I read the chipsets aren't 'mature', whatever that means.

I'll consider a PC133 board, or a Pentium 4 system, if it makes a difference.

My EP-8K7A with a 1.33 GHZ is very stable.

I only had trouble when I overclocked to the max and then turned off my air conditioner and let the room get very hot.

Epox is also releasing their new KT226 motherboard, the 8KHA, got a good review at Hardwareluxx.com, you'll need Altavista to Translate, It was only the revision1 too. The 8K7A looks to be a good motherboard too, I haven't had any experiance with it, but most feedback is Positive. I'd wait and see how the KT266 chip turns out for this month or look into the Msi K7 Master. Another great motherboard out on the KT266 chip is the Shuttle Ak31, check out the review at Cluboc.net. If you do get interested in it, make sure you get revision2 though. Viahardware.com also has a review.
