I really love them. When I was a kid, a stray corgi appeared at our house one day. We were poor and knew we couldn't afford to buy dog food or take an animal to the vet, so we didn't do anything to encourage her to stay. We didn't feed her any treats or even acknowledge her at first. Still, she immediately adopted my brother and me followed us everywhere we went, all through the surrounding neighborhoods. We started feeding her days later, when we realized she wasn't going anywhere. She was an awesome friend for many years. Whenever we'd go outside or get back home, she'd sense us from a half mile away and come running full-tilt. Nothing was more fun to her than running in a straight line at maximum speed. She never ran out of energy either. Great dog.

no lie, I run a corgi rescue with my wife (or rather, my wife runs a corgi rescue with me). Don't do out of state though, sorry =X
