SSL cache?

recently i've been having a problem connecting with msn messenger. part of the fix, according to the help file from microsoft, which can be found at the link below below, says one of the steps required to correct the problem is to clear the ssl cache. it goes on to give directions to clear the cache for wat must be win xp. alas i am using win 2k and i can't seem to find a reference to it in, amongst other places, control panel. does anyone happen to know how i might clear this cache? thanks, zz03
