SSD Win 7 install

I've read the tutorials on installation of SSD with Win & and seems simple enough but there are a couple of questions.

To avoid the 200mb hidden partition it is necessary to partition the drive before Win 7 install. However it sounds like unless you let Win 7 partition the drive as one partition and then format, the SSD will not be correctly aligned.

Then, if you want to create other partitions on the SSD at what point is this done to maintain alignment?

Windows 7 will manage this for you. The only time it might be of concern is if you are imaging from a platter drive and the imaging software doesn't take this into account.

How will Win 7 manage this if the default is the 200mb hidden file and formatting the entire drive as one partition. I've got to give it some type of instructions to accomplish what I want??

Why are you worried about a measly 200mb hidden partition? The only thing I recommend is that you unplug any secondary drives you have in your computer, otherwise Windows 7 might put this file on those drives, thus making images with Windows backup software much more difficult.
