Ssd sed

Looking for some suggestions on SED's.

From research it appears the Sandisk x300s is a nice choice because it is OS agnostic compared with some other choices that need Win7 or even Win8.

Are there any other options? I do not care about speed, just want the best encryption possible.

I actually need two or three of these drives. One will need to support Win7, another Win8.1, and a 3rd Debian.

Finally getting around to this, however have some encryption questions.

With Windows 10 does it make sense to use any of their built in encryption items along with an SSD?

Otherwise SED's such as the x300s should be OS agnostic? I'm not concerned about speed, more security and ease of use.

Not really necessary IMO.

Yes, they should be.

Pretty much any SED is going to require you to enter a password/PIN on bootup. Some people might thing that's a horrible inconvenience, other people might not worry about it.
