Question SSD Resurrection - OCZ Agility 2 - Where are the jumpers?

Hi folks.

Got an old SSD that I am trying to resurrect.
OCZ Agility 2 90GB - PN: OCZSSD2-2AGTE90G
PCB-0025-X01
I've done some research, and have located MPTools - can boot to it from a USB drive.
MPTools doesn't see the drive, but the motherboard does (ASUS P5Q-EM).
On the Vertex 2, there are two jumpers (P8, P9) that put that drive into MFG mode so that MPTools will talk to the drive. The Agility 2 does not have these jumpers.

Does anyone know what has to be jumped on the Agility 2?

this thread seems to have some insight.

I have the same revision board. No P8 or P9 pins. It's a 60GB one.

I'll investigate but in case anyone knows; where are these P8 and P9 pins connected to?

Any hints are welcome.

/update1: Okay i think i'm just going to try blocking the SDA signal on startup. (i'll do this by shorting SDA to VCC) wish me luck.

/update2: Just tried it and it indeed goes into MFG mode (bios shows a 25gb Sandforce disc) but i just cannot seem to get the tool to recognize the SSD.

/update3: Okay next i shorted pin 2 and 3 of the Atmel, same issue as before.
Then I tried a different SATA controller on mainboard (marvel) this one actually worked!! So i have my SSD back running again.

Next on the list is to find the correct device ID's so i can use the official OCZ toolbox for updating the firmware etc.

Yep, been there. Was looking for something less experimental - I'm not sure what that poster means by 'sda' in terms of shorting it to VCC.
VCC I see on the PCB as one of the serial terminals. 'SDA' I only know as a Linux drive designation (sda1, sda2, sdb, etc). The SATA data and power pinouts don't list an SDA so I'm lost there.
I'm looking for this drive's equivalent of the P8/P9 jumpers from the Vertex, if they exist..

Try putting it into an usb enclosure, some drives use this trick to trigger mfg mode
