SSD Performance Drop?

When I first built the current rig, about two months ago (see signature), I took a measurement of the G2, and got this:

Just for grins, I ran the benchmark last night, and got this:

Is it normal for an SSD to take a performance hit like this after a couple of months of usage, or did something in my setup change (driver, patch, etc.) that's causing the difference?

I'm not noticing any real change in performance or response, and am still happy with the drive... but curious as to might have happened here.

Did you run the Intel SSD Optimizer from the toolbox app anytime in the last 2 months?

Yes, I try to run that every one or two weeks or so.

Yes. Good thing it is still so much faster than HDDs. :thumbsup:
