SSD: OCZ Vertex 4 Firmware 1.4

How long is your warranty? And, really, how much cheaper is a 120 or 240gb Vertex 4 than a drive with an excellent long-term reliability record like the m4? Based solely upon OCZ's record of releasing beta or worse firmware + their destructive firmware updates, I would hesitate to install any of their ssd's into a client's PC if I was going to have to warranty said PC.

I don't use OCZ because they're slightly cheaper; I use them because the reviews indicated that they were quite fast. After a positive experience with one, I decided to just stick to what I know works. I've never used a Crucial drive. I also like Intel drives, but they're really pricey and don't seem to be as fast as the OCZ ones.

The Vertex 4's warranty is 5 years FYI. Which is better than...oh, everyone.

No, OCZ sucks, remember? Everything they do is awful, their stuff breaks after two minutes, and they're made entirely in sweatshops by three fingered Chinese children.
