SSD mounting

I'm looking at upgrading to an SSD for my OS drive, and seeing a mix of 1.8" and 2.5" drives. I haven't really been interested before until my new 1 tb Spinpoint F3 drives for media storage have showed me how slow my aging WD 250 gb drive really is (compared to new tech)

Anyways, it doesn't appear that they include any 3.5" adapters for these SSD's... am I mistaken? Which products do you use for this? You'd think they would mount them in some sort of bracket, ala Velociraptor 2.5" drive.

I don't think most SSDs include a 3.5" bracket. I have several OCZ SSDs and none came with the bracket. I remember seeing a Kingston value SSD that does come with one though.

I just leave my SSD sitting on the bottom of my case. Velcro might be good to keep the drive from moving around, I suppose.

The velociraptor usually comes with icepak which doubles as 3.5" bracket and heatsink.

i used blue masking tape to mount them. only just to keep them from sliding around when moving the case
