Marvell’s 5th generation flash controller, from what I can find on this is that with this new flash nand will do more than just decrease the cost of ssd’s but possibly increase life span, and even has some pretty nice error correction technology that I am not really sure of how it works. I will be paying more attention as more companies come to market with these new SSD’s. Any good input on this matter would be much appreciated.

Kingston UV400, Plextor M7V, Lite-ON CV2 and Sandisk X400 are planar TLC drives have that controller.

The Crucial MX300 (using 3D TLC) is reportedly using that controller as well.
