update downloaded the update, it cannot see my drive....

Update 8/4/11

Well it turns out my trusty Micro Center brand SSD was th culprit. I went to MC and bought a Crucial M4 SSD, did everything that I did with the other drive and it worked like a charm! Thanks for all of your guidance!

Yeah I didnt want to mess with sandforce this time around, went the M4 based on the reputation so far.

Did the same thing the x58 has the MC
To avoid any proplems I put the m4 in the sandy.

Try doing a secure erase of the MC drive to revert it back to factory default.
