Does anyone have any specific hands on experience using a SSD disk as a Photoshop scratch disk?
I'm sure the SLC are great and the Intel MLC would be great, too. However, it seems to me that even the poorly performing MLC disks with the JMicron controller (JMF602) might work well as just a scratch disk.
Is that correct?
Or, would the stutters in those scratch disks freeze the OS that is on a separate HD?
To be clear, I would *not* use the MLC disks (with JMicron controller) as the primary/OS disk, just as the scratch disk.
