Games will be faster but the system will not unless you install the OS onto it. I run a 120GB SSD as the OS and for production apps and games storage and a RAID0 array for stragedy myself, this setup is the bees knees. Check out the Crucial MX100 and Samsung EVO 840 too.

I'm waiting for delivery now SanDisk Ultra II 120GB 550/500 MB/s
It has 15 years lifespan, and its better than Samsung 840 Pro (my friend tells me after 6TB Samsung is droping down to read 550 -> 400MB and write 470 ->200MB :-(
SanDisk is much better

I doubt the SanDisk is any better, do you have any idea how long it takes to get to 6 TB of writes? Besides, Samsung published a fix. And your 120 GB SanDisk is not going to be that fast, likely your 550/500 MB/s figure is for the 240 or 280 GB version, because there's more chips and therefore more paths. The 64 and 120 GB SSDs are always slower. Never buy smaller than a 200 GB SSD, the price difference these days is minimal.

Your friend has surely gotten too small of one, and filled it up. Having written 6TB isn't what slowed it down. Any desktop SSD will have that same behavior. Only max out your storage for temporary needs. If you need to user as much space as your drive has, then you need to have more total space.

I have written over 7TB of data on my Samsung 840 Pro and there was no sign of performance degradation.

Write 100TB to it, and it will still perform nearly as good as brand new, after a little rest. A slight decrease in reads with a big decrease in writes, in a drive like that, is almost always from filling it up too much, and leaving it that way for a long time (which, if you can't use TRIM, is still 100x better than an HDD, but is avoidable if you can use TRIM).
