Oh,the joy. Some maps load so fast now,i get kicked for modifried content in punkbuster.Guess this sorta thing never occured to me.Anyone else having any strange abnomalies due to your drive loading the maps faster than the server is??lol

Not really asking for advice, just wondering if any other games i may take onto the ssd could act funny.Share you r experiences related to games, thanks🙂

Yeah I play BC2 COD2 BF2 all with my Intel SSD I never have any problems. Goto punkbusters website and update punkbuster manual to the latest version of the game you are playing. Sometimes that is the problem...

Good old BF2 huh?

I used to get kicked like that on every fucking map change. Punkbuster can sure be retarded.

The wonderful part is, PB will kick someone like you guys or kick me that could not "hack" my way out of a wet paper bag. Yet, it cannot detect or do anything about the people that pay for the high end game hacks. Wonderful piece of software there.

Yeah, PB is pretty fail. Past few months I started getting kicked from COD4 if I had Steam running in the background with some message about a driver problem. And yes, still on occasion see people with hacks. Good thing is that at least some of the time a server admin happens to get whatever client ID and cap some spectating video so that the client can get banned. Isn't an instantaneous or automated process, but those idiots will go to play some day and will get auto kicked from PB protected servers regardless of whether they're cheating.

Or, so I'd like to hope.

I had some issues recently with copying preinstalled Steam to SSDs from spindle drives. On two different machines, had to run a check and re-download several files. Odd.

Heh,yes.🙂An addiction that has never ceased.Pb is updated, but i think i get that error usually in this situation:Already in a server map, upon rotation to another map.Map is usually a smaller one,as i usually have no issue with larger maps(file size).

One time, recently, heck i was already in a chopper and flying it before anyone else got in.I suddenly respawned again within seconds with no chopper back where i started and then chopper was taken by someone else already.Just wierd.

Thanks for your input.

Didn't know such things existed. High-end game hacks? And you have to pay for them.. Wow. Learn something new every day!
