WTF is this? Wasn't there a thread like 2 weeks ago where people were going WTF at some new Adam Sandler movie? I'm almost completely certain it wasn't this one either.

Oh, I guess he's not in that movie (or at least one of the main ones), he wrote it.

Billy Madison was on last night and you know what? I thought until last night that Sandler used to be good but got worse. He hasn't gotten worse. That movie actually sucks, it's not funny. His acting was terrible then and the movie was silly.

I wouldn't call it or Happy Gilmore exactly great movies, but they are nowhere near as bad as the shit he's been shoveling the past few years. I don't get it either, it was like he was going serious (Punch Drunk Love, Reign Over Me, Spanglish). Personally, I wouldn't call any Adam Sandler movie a great movie. Even the better ones are worse for him being in them, but he's really trying to outdo himself.

Eh. He can do whatever the hell he wants. Doesn't mean we have to see it. :p

Trying to remember the last great Sandler flick? Thinking either Water Boy or maybe Little Nicky? Oh wait 50 First Dates. I don't know haven't seen them in years. Not a person I jump to see. Click was just wonky. I mean it had some funny moments and a good idea just some of the Sandler humor just ruined it. I dunno it was okay.

I did like him on SNL in the 90s and his early stuff. Very hit or miss.

The twin he is playing does look like a Female he played on SNL. Can't remember the episode. Watch the best of Adam Sandler SNL if it's still on Netflix streaming.

Hey if people like his stuff. That's cool. I think this movie looks stupid but some people think it looks funny. So whatever.

I watched Mr. Deeds on Crackle as last time I seen it was when it came on DVD. So while I remember enjoying it. It was meh. Had some funny moments but I dunno maybe I wasn't in the right set of mind. Or I should have left my brain at the door. ;)

I kind of hoped that 'Grown Ups' would be funny but it sucked too. Cast was good, script sucked. I rented it and honestly it isn't even worth a rental. I'm just glad I didn't see it in theaters.

Nobody can suck the air out of a room faster than Adam Sandler and Rob Schneider.

i have imdb pro and not 1 of his films has lost money.

so while you say give it up if you are ever approached with a opportunity to invest in one of this mans films you had better put as much as you possibly can in it.

This movie brought in 162 million in the us box office alone. Doesn't list how much it cost but his most expensive film was 90 million to make.

That's how Eddie Murphy was, and yet Pluto Nash still happened, so I don't know that I'd say that. :awe:

Of course he's made other shit since then that still rolled bank (Norbit, can't even remember much else), so it'd be worth gambling on.

This movie will attain cult status. That's the really funny part.

I love these parody previews.
