I saw the trailer in theater a few months ago and my reaction was the same. "OMFG, give it up asshole". It's not enough that he put himself in a role where he felt up Jessica Biel (ref Chuck & Larry). Now he thinks he can do the Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence.

A family man is forced to deal with his twin sister from the Bronx comes to Los Angeles for a visit -- then won't leave.

WTF does that mean? I mean, I think I know, but I do believe some words.

:sneaky:

^Click was good because of the supporting casts: Christopher Walken, Hasselhoff, Kate Beckinsale, etc. It could have been done with a completely different main actor.

He has basically become a children's actor now. My 14y/o niece gets excited for his movies. Happy Madison productions in general have become a joke.

while i certainly will not agree that 'click' was good, he definitely does better when he shares the screen with, you know...actors.

usually you get the impression that he's just getting paid to hang out with his friends. kind of like judd apatow movies, except the end result isn't usually funny.

Adam Sandler pretty much mints money. He'll be a billionaire in the next 10 years IMO.

yea my jaw hit the floor during that trailer.....w...t....f.....

In all fairness Sony is backing this pile of dung not his production company. Sandler usually produces and acts it...on this, just getting paid a fat check for acting.

Well its probably part of a multipicture deal so they couldn't back out of funding the turkey, sandler just doing favors for his friends I guess.

Billy Madison was on last night and you know what? I thought until last night that Sandler used to be good but got worse. He hasn't gotten worse. That movie actually sucks, it's not funny. His acting was terrible then and the movie was silly.

How old are you? How old were you when you first saw it?

it's an irreverent take on streetcar named desire

Interesting, but not quite what I was getting at. They dropped some words, or combined sentences incorrectly, or those missing words committed suicide for being included in this movie's tag line.

Original:
A family man is forced to deal with his twin sister from the Bronx comes to Los Angeles for a visit -- then won't leave.

Intended?:
A family man is forced to deal with his twin sister from the Bronx when she comes to Los Angeles for a visit -- then won't leave.

or?:
