SRPMS #Fedora Core LINUX#

What is the differance between "FC3-i386-disc1.iso" and "FC3-i386-SRPMS-disc4" ? what is the SRPMS?

As n0cmonkey suggests, the difference is that the SRPM disk images contain the source code for Fedora Core Linux. There's a SRPM for each of the major packages on Fedora Core, though an SRPM may produce multiple RPMs (often one for the program, one for docs, and another for development files). See the RPM HOWTO for how to install RPMs and how to install and build SRPMs.
