We used to be watermelon farmers on the side when I was a kid.
 
I'm just teasing ya man. 😀 I remembered reading almost the exact same thing a while back that had a video with it, that's why I reposted it.
 
My dad used to bring stuff like that home from work when he was helping with the research on it. (It would go to waste otherwise)
Also brought home the first cherry tomatos and yellow cucumbers and stuff like that, years before those hit the stores.
