square DVI?

My new 9600XT apparently has a square DVI out... my monitor has the long DVI. Is this the norm now?

That is not DVI, That is dual VGA I believe. There is a proprietary cable that ATI supplies with teh card.

You have an AIW 9600XT right? - the one in your sig?

What do you mean by long and square? You aren't talking about DVI-D vs. DVI-I are you?

Tiamat is right. The 9600XT AIW does not have a DVI out.

That's a proprietary connector, where the (included) breakout cable whip goes. RTFM

OHHHHHHHHH, that is awesome. I bought this thing refurbished and it didn't come with that cable. I'm feeling a little stupid right now.
