SQL Statement in SQL Server

WhoIsThat

Senior member
Ok, I need to delete a particular table regularly. Typically, I do the following:
delete from table1

However, it is a very large table and takes a very long time to delete the rows. I believe it is caused by SQL server trying to create logs in case it needs to reverse the operation if it fails in the middle of it.

As it is not necessary to create a transaction log for this particular deletion, is there a way to tell it to just delete it quickly without creating a transaction log?

Thank you.
