spyware? how do i get rid of it?

i got some POS program on my computer that i can't seem to delete. deleted all the files i can find, ran ad-aware, still appears...

something linked to the website Gator.com

how do i get rid of the blasted thing, it's creepy.

do you know what the file name is? Try opening up msconfig and seeing if it's in there. You may not be able to get rid of it, but you can keep it from loading.
