This thing is a pain in the ass. In one day my PC become over run with a virus and a trojan that infected 10 other files. Now its running under my task manager as MSCONFIG32.Exe . Nortan says it doesnt have access to repair/delete. Damn thing closes my task manager and regedit.

 
Sorey I wass not focossing on teh poast. (Sorry I was not focusing on the post).
I was going to fix it early after I posted but then I just like to screw with people and have the comment how my spelling stinks... bah.
 
Well using a anti-Trogan program I was able to end the msconfig32.exe task which allowed me to regain control over the task manager and the registry editor. So now no more msconfig32 but Norton still can't remove w32.spybot from the system folder.

I think I might need to re install Norton. Norton gives me an error saying it can't finish a scan, which happened before I got the virus. None of the live updates are helping me remove this either.

Of course I could try contacting Norton for 29 dollars a minute. Sheesh.
 
boot into safe mode, and then trash that thing. When all else fails, that usually works. Be sure to dump the trash before you reboot.
