Both outstandingly ugly.

At least the Audi gaping mouth looks half decent...that thing on the Explorer is ugly.

wow ford worked hard on that one. Changed the lights and put in a new grill. IF thats all they were gonna do to the outside should have LEFT the old grill. Sure did look better on it than that thing.

I cant imagine the new Avalanche to be much better than it is already, which isnt wonderful

It was only meant as a freshening. Nothing more. The Explorer will also get the newer 4.6L DOHC V8 and a new interior that looks similar to the refreshed Mercury Mountaineer.

That looks fine for a SUV. I dont know why anyone would find that "ugly". Ugly is asstek, this is "OK", maybe even bland with that rear.

I'd still never buy one though.
